CITY ALPS RUN CLUB
NEW TO RUN CLUB?
WE START AT 7:10 PM SHARP
(see online schedule for details. this is not a COACHED running class, this is a social meetup)
Twice a week, we meet outside the City Alps studio for a group run. The only commitment we ask is to buy and wear our CITY ALPS running t-shirt (after your first month with us).
Tempo Tuesdays ...
alternates between stair/bridge intervals or tempo sessions (about 10km total). Sometimes, we do a 5km or 8km time trial. A base running fitness is required before you join these sessions but you can be any pace since we always fetch runners in the recovery part of our intervals and our warm up and down is always at chatting pace.
Thursday, Longer Run...
involves about 12km, on a different route every time. All paces welcome since our policy is to always fetch the back runners every now and then. That way, the front runners can clock more KM's and it means that no one gets left behind. .
Sometimes, we end these sessions with a hard-earned beer close by at the Poesiat & Kater brewery
